Our Vision

It is the belief of the PS/MS 164 community that every child regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, or heritage language has the right to develop to his/her fullest potential. In an atmosphere where students, staff and parents view themselves as active life-long learners and are supportive of each other, children will develop to their greatest potential. PS/MS 164 will continue to provide an instructional program that includes a strong component of the visual, performing and technological arts.

 Our Mission

We will implement a comprehensive, high-quality, standards-driven instructional program infused with technology, the arts and citizenship. We will establish high expectations for all children and all other members of the PS/MS 164 community. We will capitalize on the special interest, talents and learning styles of all of our students and address each child's special needs.
