Google Classroom Instructions

Below you will find instructions for parents and students to join Google Classroom. 

Students K-4:

Parents of students in K-4 need to have a Gmail account to join a PS/MS 164 virtual Google Classroom. If a parent does not a Gmail, they can create a free account at gmail.com. 

Below are instructions on joining a Google Classroom once a Gmail account has been created. 

1.  Go to classroom.google.com
2. Sign-in with Gmail account
3. On the upper-right-hand corner click on the "+" 
4. Add the classroom code provided by the teacher

 Students 5-8:  

Students should only use their @psms164.com account. If parents would like to follow their child's progress on Google Classroom, email the teacher to request to be attached as a guardian.

Below are instructions on joining a Google Classroom.

1.  Go to classroom.google.com
2. Sign-in with @psms164.com account
3. On the upper-right-hand corner click on the "+"
4. Add the classroom code provided by the teacher
